HOOSIER DOME (later renamed RCA DOME, later demolished)
Indianapolis, Indiana

Opened August 5, 1984 at a cost of $77.5 million. Closed February 2008. Demolished December 2008. Replaced by Lucus Oil Stadium.

Capacity for football games was 60,000, slightly less by the final 6 seasons of football, from 2001-2007. It was called Hoosier Dome until 1994, when naming rights were purchased by RCA.

Mega sized concerts, too large for an arena, were held here. Performers included Bruce Springsteen, U2, Van Halen's Monsters of Rock Tour, The Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd.

The Jacksons Victory tour was scheduled to play here, but cancelled due to the stage layout conflicting with the number of tickets that could be sold.

Shows seen here:

April 07, 1990 - FARM AID IV
July 15, 1994 - PINK FLOYD
October 22, 1994 - ROLLING STONES
